The Kunshan Franklin Library is named after Benjamin Franklin, a Founding Father of the United States who began his lifelong pursuit of wisdom through self-education and an enduring passion for reading. Franklin’s “Thirteen Virtues” symbolize discipline and character, reminding us that the true value of knowledge lies not only in understanding but also in practice.

The mission of the library goes beyond preserving books; it seeks to inspire inquiry, nurture virtues, and broaden global perspectives. In alignment with the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy, the Kunshan Franklin Library has become a vital space for exploration, critical thinking, collaboration, and reflection.
